William Held

Managing Partner

Will Held is the managing partner at Strawberry Solar, where he brings strategic leadership grounded in a solid foundation in finance and renewable energy. Will earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University’s Broad College of Business, giving him a strong analytical perspective on project planning, financial modeling, and business growth.

At Strawberry Solar he focuses on making solar accessible and practical for homeowners and businesses, helping shape operational direction, overseeing client engagements, and guiding the company through the ever-evolving energy market. Will’s role is rooted in both understanding the technical complexity of solar projects and making those systems work financially for the people who invest in them.

Joseph Nagle

Founder

Joe Nagle is the founder and driving force behind Strawberry Solar since its launch in 2010. Joe has built his career around hands-on solar design, sales, and installation with a deep commitment to thoughtful engineering and real solutions that work in Michigan’s challenging climate. He started in the industry before many others were thinking about clean energy here, bringing local expertise and a focus on doing projects the right way. Joe’s experience goes beyond business leadership – he’s personally tackled tough installations, navigated shifting energy policy, and even installed solar on his own home to test new approaches and technologies firsthand.

Seger Weisberg

Sales Manager

A Michigan native with seven years in sales at Strawberry Solar, Seger earned a Bachelors of Science in Sustainability degree from Arizona State University, which sparked his passion for clean energy and conservation. He’s a big fan of Detroit sports, weekend golf, architecture—and his dog, Oreo, who’s pretty sure he runs the show.

Gunnar Groesbeck

Solar Designer & Sales Associate

Gunnar grew up in northern Michigan, fostering a love of the outdoors. After getting a Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Michigan and working as an automotive engineer for several years Gunnar realized that he needed to work in better concert with nature. He received a Masters in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the University of Stockholm in Sweden and when he’s not chasing his kids around, he is happily helping people and businesses realize their solar potential!

Josh Miller

Solar Designer & Sales Associate

Starting as a hobbyist over the pandemic, Josh was designing his own systems before joining the Strawberry Solar team as an installer. With over 50 installations under his belt, and with a background in business analysis and automation development, design and sales became a clear fit. As your solar energy expert, Josh has the technical background as well as the hands-on practical installation knowledge to help you design the perfect system for your needs. Fun Fact: You can find Josh playing drums with the Detroit-based band Jackson and the Poolsharks. Check them out on your favorite streaming platforms!
